Graduation film from The National Danish Film School (2021) Mira is an intimate portrait of love, vulnerability, and family. The director collaborates with the person he knows best: his lover. She is both the film’s main character and a creative contributor through her lyrics.

In a letter to her newborn daughter, Mira writes: “Through new emotions you let me see everything anew.” We meet the young parents, Mira and Ejner, as they share confidences about dreams, fantasies, and fears. In the midst of chaotic everyday life, the film unfolds the fear of losing one another. The story weaves a present-day relationship together with family histories, forming an intimate love story shaped by a past that still casts its shadows.
