Æterens Ægte Originaler
Description
Æterens ægte originaler (True Originals of the Airwaves) is a Danish documentary series portraying three devoted figures from the world of local radio. In Copenhagen, Thermo searches for a radio format no one has tried before. On Funen, Svend Åge Skrynik keeps Fyens Total Radio alive almost alone, supported only by his loyal assistant Randi. In southern Jutland, 69-year-old Holger Wollesen runs Tønder Radio with a team of unpaid volunteers, chasing the near-impossible dream of sustaining local radio.
Through intimate observation and gentle humor, the series portrays media makers driven not by profit or fame, but by a deep attachment to the medium. It is a story of dedication, eccentricity, and the enduring human need to be heard - no matter how small the signal.
